Bhubaneswar, Jan. 16 -- Farmers will get cash benefits under the KALIA scheme on January 25 and nearly 12 to 14 lakh farmers will be benefitted from the scheme in the first phase, informed Cooperation Department Secretary, Krishan Kumar today.
The first phase of 'green form' application process has ended and nearly 60 lakh farmers have submitted applications. During inspection, almost 1 lakh applications have been rejected, informed sources.
"We have received nearly 60 lakh green forms. The first beneficiary list will be finalised by January 21 and funds will be disbursed on January 25," Kumar said adding that all farmers will be covered in three phases.
