Baripada, Jan. 17 -- Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital in Baripada is still dependant on oxygen cylinders owing to the lack of a centralized oxygen plant.

According to sources, the hospital continues to reel under inadequate ancillary facilities even after a year of its establishment. Even in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), the oxygen supply system malfunctioned around 20 days ago and patients have alleged that the wiring of the pipes is in a mess.

"When I reached here the central oxygen supply was not operational. They provided a cylinder after a half-an-hour-delay," said Alekha Ranjan Pathi, a patient's relative.
