India, Jan. 15 -- Union minister Smriti Irani on Tuesday hit back at Congress president Rahul Gandhi after the Gandhi scion took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the latter being conferred 'Kotler Presidential Award'.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday received the first-ever Philip Kotler Presidential award in New Delhi and the Congress took potshots at the PM in the season of general elections.

In a rather sarcastic tweet, Gandhi said, "I want to congratulate our PM, on winning the world famous 'Kotler Presidential Award'... In fact, it's so famous it has no jury, has never been given out before and is backed by an unheard of Aligarh company."
