India, Jan. 15 -- The fourth International Kite Festival and second International Sweet Festival were inaugurated by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad. As many as 42 professional kite flyers from abroad and 60 from India were participating in the Kite Festival in the city, stated a press release.

He urged the youth to understand rich and diverse traditions of Indian festivals since such occasions were meant for social bonding and inculcation of a spirit of communal harmony and national integrity, it added.
