MASERU, Jan. 15 -- Bantu FC went down 2-1 to Unugu Rangers of Nigeria on Sunday at Setsoto Stadium to leave their participation in the 2018-19 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederation Cup hanging by a thread.

Bantu failed to use the home ground advantage and let the Nigerians get the upper hand going into the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup play offs set for Nigeria on Sunday the 20th this month.

In the first minutes of the game, Bantu were dictating the match and forcing their counterparts to spend most of the time in their own half. However Rangers was smart enough to convert the first chance they got into a goal through their forward Bright Silas in the 19th minute of the first half.
