GHAZIABAD, Jan. 18 -- The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) on Thursday said there would likely be a hike in cost and size of flats being taken up under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) scheme. The authority officials said they are trying to get the project reports approved for 18,000 flats against a target of 13,500 flats for 2018-19. In all, the authority has to construct 35,000 such flats by 2022. A high-level meeting was held in Lucknow recently where issues related to the scheme were taken up.
