SHIMLA, Jan. 8 -- In a bid to woo government employees in the state, Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that if voted to power in Haryana, AAP would bring back the old pension scheme (OPS), which was replaced by the national pension system (NPS) in 2004, within 15 days.

Kejriwal was addressing a state-level rally of the members of "pension bahali sangharsh samiti", an association fighting for restoration of the old pension scheme.

Presently, there are about 1.5 lakh post-OPS pensioners in the state, a good chunk of which favours OPS.
