NEW DELHI, Jan. 4 -- Filmmaker Ritesh Batra was catapulted to fame after his debut feature, The Lunchbox (2013). He is now ready with his next Hindi offering, Photograph, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra. Ritesh, however, has stayed away from making a masala or commercial film till now and when asked if that's a conscious decision, he says, "It's not conscious, it's just about being yourself. I don't think you can strategise, but you should be true to yourself. The only conscious decision I made was directing my own writing. In the last five to six years, I have become more and more sure that I want to direct my own writing, and learn along the way. (For example) I think Shah Rukh Khan is a great actor. If I wrote anything and he's the right person to do it, and if he wants to do it, I will do (a film) with him. I think The Lunchbox too was a commercial movie." ...
