PANJIM, Jan. 16 -- Even after being reprimanded by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar in the past, Dy Speaker Michael Lobo continued his tirade against the CM. On Tuesday the Calangute MLA blamed the Chief Minister for the nuisance on the beach and low-grade tourist arrivals in Goa.
Speaking to the media at the Police Headquarters, Lobo said that during the year-end, tourists were walking with bottles on the head on the beaches.
"Tourism Department is responsible, but the chief minister is responsible more for nuisance on beaches and low-grade tourist arrivals. I say CM is responsible as he should have brought the necessary orders and he has not done it, despite I reminding him 150 times," he said.
