The Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Public Works (Roads and Building) Department Division Bhaderwah of District Doda has allegedly been demanding huge commissions from contractors whose works were allotted through tenders by department.
Contractor Association Bhaderwah registered several complaints against the official to Superintending Engineer PWD (R&B) Circle Doda and Chief Engineer Jammu but surprisingly, the department till date took no action against the official.
Wishing anonymity, a contractor told Early Times that the official presently holding the charge of AEE and Technical Officer to Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Division Bhaderwah was harassing the contractors by demanding huge commi...
