Sri Lanka, Jan. 16 -- The meeting between Finance and Mass Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera and International Monetary Fund Director Christine Lagarde was held in New York, USA.
In his official Twitter account, Minister Mangala Samaraweera notes that the discussion with the International Monetary Fund Director has been productive.
It is further stated that a senior team of officials will arrive in Sri Lanka next month to start the discussions and start discussions with the International Monetary Fund.
