Dhaka, Bangladesh, Jan. 18 -- Khulna Power Company Ltd (KPCL) dominated the turnover chart of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) last week that ended on Thursday.

Market analysts said the investors were active both sides on Khulna Power's shares almost throughout the week amid positive expectations.

According to statistics available with the DSE, about 24.62 million shares of KPCL were traded, generating a turnover of nearly BDT 1.71 billion, which was 3.25 percent of the DSE's total turnover.

The total turnover on the DSE stood at BDT 52.71 billion last week against BDT 49.25 billion on the previous week.
