JORHAT, Jan. 14 -- Activists of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti, All Tai -- om Students' Union and Asom.Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad today staged a protest on the National Highway-37 at Khoraikhowa outskirts here when Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal landed in a helicopter at the Kaziranga University field to attend its 5th convocation. The police rounded up the protesters who were shouting slogans and carrying black flags in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016 which was passed in the Lok Sabha last week.
