Sri Lanka, May 6 -- A tense situation unfolded as a group of unemployed graduates surrounded the North Central Provincial Council building, demanding solutions to their grievances.

Police have arrested twenty-two unemployed graduates who staged a protest by blocking the entrance of the North Central Provincial Council building.

According to police reports, a total of 22 individuals, including 11 females, were arrested during the agitation.

The unemployed graduates from the North Central Province have been protesting in front of the Provincial Council for several days.
