Goa, Feb. 7 -- In a recent development, Mumbai police have detained three individuals for unlawfully entering India. The trio arrived in Mumbai via boat from Kuwait and were apprehended at the Gateway of India upon their arrival on Tuesday. Initial inspections of the vessel revealed no immediate cause for suspicion.

Originating from Tamil Nadu, the individuals' journey has prompted the authorities to take action. The Colaba police have registered a case against them under section 3 (a) and penal section 6 (a) of the Passport (Entry into India) Rules, citing failure to adhere to proper entry procedures into the country.
