Goa, April 24 -- Smart city authorities began the works of reconstruction of the drains near Jama Masjid in Panjim on Wednesday to make sure that drains are not flooded due to heavy rains. In recent years, the city has been witnessing unseasonal rainfall leading to flooding and chaos. To combat this issue, the smart city authorities have taken a proactive step towards reconstructing the drains near Jama Masjid, one of the most iconic landmarks in Panjim.
