RAIA, May 1 -- Navelim Villagers Union blanked Parish Youth, Nuvem, 3-0, to march into the semifinals of Couthino Family Cup 2024 organised by Santa Cruz Society, Poitomado-Cuncolim and played at school playground, Cuncolim, on Tuesday.
In the exciting quarter-finals, both the teams played attacking soccer from the word go and Navelim Villagers Union scored the first goal in the 7th minutes of the game through Sadroy Costa off a pass from Prestly Gomes with neat placement while Inacio Colaco send a cross pass to Joywin Costa who failed to tap the ball in open net in the 10th minute of the game. At half time, Navelim were leading 1-0.
