RAIA, April 29 -- Hosts Sporting Club of Davorlim defeated Carmona Sports Club 4-0 to enter the semi-finals of 15th Davorlim Cup organised by Sporting Club of Davorlim at Davorlim Panchayat ground, on Sunday.
In an exciting quarter-final, Carmona SC started the match with fast pace and tried to hit the target. They came close in scoring the goal but Stanford Fernandes' strike directly went into the hands of SC Davorlim goalkeeper Francisco Colaco in 7th minute of play.
On other hand, SC Davorlim's Royson send a through pass to Milton Colaco, whose powerful shoot crush into the net of Carmona SC in the 25th minute of the play to give them a lead. Before half-time, Ajay Raj of SC Davorlim made it 2-0 with a powerful header.
