Dehradun, May 10 -- Amid rising mercury in most parts of the state, rains and thunderstorms are likely to bring relief to the people of Uttarakhand over the next four days beginning tonight. In case of good rains, one can expect some abatement in forest fires. At present, forest fires are being reported across the state with smog also being reported in the hills, making it difficult to breathe.
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain in some districts of the state.
According to the Department, there is a possibility of rain in many areas of the state from tonight till 12 May.
