Mumbai, March 21 -- Fans of New Amsterdam who craved more content after the NBC series ended its five-season run last year might have something to anticipate. David Schulner, the series creator, executive producer, and showrunner, is working on a spinoff series at NBC set 30 years following the events of the original show.

Tentatively titled New Amsterdam: Tomorrow, the spinoff follows Luna Goodwin, daughter of Dr. Max Goodwin (played by Ryan Eggold), as she assumes her father's position as Medical Director of New Amsterdam Hospital.
