SRINAGAR, April 30 -- In a sigh of relief for people, especially those living in low-lying areas, rains stopped on Tuesday after drenching Jammu and Kashmir for the last few days. During the next 24 hours, the weather department here has forecast cloudy weather with possibility of fresh rains, particularly in the afternoon.
Generally cloudy weather is expected with light rain with thunder at many places on April 30," a meteorological department official said.
From May 1-5, he said, generally dry weather with afternoon thundershower activity is expected at a few places. Light rains with thunders at scattered places have been forecast from May 6-7.
