JAMMU, May 8 -- In a resolute stance against delays in compliance with judicial orders, the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Jammu, presided over by Members Parshant Kumar and MA Latifi, issued a stern warning emphasizing the non-negotiable nature of judicial directives.

The tribunal's attention was drawn to a contempt petition stemming from a judgment dated 08.05.2023, wherein the Division Bench had directed the release of pension and pensionary benefits to a retired employee within three months. Despite repeated orders, the respondents had failed to fulfill their obligations, necessitating the contempt petition.
