Jammu, May 7 -- Amid confusion among hard-core voters of the party on three Lok Sabha seats of Kashmir Valley, the BJP directed its leaders and workers not to carry party flags or symbols while campaigning on these segments.
Highly placed sources said that the decision not to carry party flags and symbols has been taken to give a message to the opposition parties that the BJP is not directly involved in supporting any particular candidates on the Lok Sabha seats of Kashmir Valley.
"From today BJP leaders and workers will campaign without party flags and symbols", a source said and added that most of the functions organized by the party in the twin border districts of Poonch and Rajouri were held without party flags.
