Dar es Salaam, April 8 -- MOROGORO: TANZANIA Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) has laid out strategic plans to ensure that by the year 2025/2026, at least 85 per cent of the road network is passable throughout all seasons.

The Chief Executive Officer of TARURA, Engineer Victor Seff, made the remarks recently, in Morogoro while opening the TARURA Workers Council meeting, to review the budget for the 2024/2025 fiscal year, which will be presented by the Minister for Works Mr Innocent Bashungwa to the National Assembly next month.

Eng Seff stated that the main objective of the strategy is to ensure the roads remain accessible in all seasons to stimulate economic growth and facilitate easy access to social and economic services.
