Dar es Salaam, March 28 -- TANZANIA: SMALL and medium enterprises in information and communications technology (ICT) are set to boost their business, thanks to Airtel Tanzanias initiative to facilitate accessibility of 5G services in the country.

Tanzania has been recognised by the World Bank for its maturity in technology adoption, ranking first in East Africa and second in the entire African continent.

The government in collaboration with mobile network providers has continued to invest in ICT infrastructures, particularly the telecom towers in different parts of the country meant to enhance accessibility of telecommunication services.
