Dar es Salaam, May 9 -- DAR ES SALAAM: Substitute Mudathir Yahya struck late in the 82nd minute to secure a hard-fought 1-0 victory for Young Africans over Kagera Sugar.

The thrilling Premier League match, held at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday, propelled the hosts to 68 points in 26 matches.

They now sit comfortably atop the table, with an 11-point lead and four fixtures remaining in the season.

However, this lead could be narrowed to 8 points if Azam manages to defeat Simba in a challenging league match at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam today.
