Dar es Salaam, April 19 -- SINGIDA: IHEFU and Singida Fountain Gate battled into a 1-1 draw in their NBC Premier League clash at Liti Stadium in Singida, yesterday.

Following the result, Singida Fountain Gate maintained their position in 10th place in the league standings, tied with Ihefu on 25 points.

However, Singida hold the edge in goal difference. Both teams displayed impressive performance from the midfield to create goal-scoring opportunities.

It was Singida Fountain Gate who scored first, through Nicholas Gyan in the 20th minute. Despite Singidas early advantage, Ihefu tried to fight back, pressing Singida and creating chances.
