Dar es Salaam, Feb. 15 -- OSLO, Norway: Tanzania and Norway have signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on food security and agriculture, demonstrating their joint commitment to strengthening Tanzanias capacity and ability to transform the agri-food sector.

The deal was signed in the presence of President Samia Suluhu Hassan in Oslo.

“In 2024, we also celebrate the 50th anniversary of bilateral collaboration on agriculture, which has contributed to Tanzanias national policies aimed at transforming and modernizing the agricultural sector,” a statement issued by the State House said.
