Sri Lanka, April 19 -- The Treasurer of the Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors' Association, Dilipa Roshan Kumara of the Karandeniya Administration, was tragically murdered two months ago, but to date, the Police have failed to arrest any suspects or find substantial clues leading to the perpetrators.

Following the murder, senior police officials visited the scene to pay their respects and assured that the suspects would be apprehended within a week. However, two months have elapsed without any arrests or even a discernible motive for the crime. Consequently, Inspector General of Police, Deshabandu Thennakoon, has decided to transfer the case to the Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
