Sri Lanka, March 27 -- Irrespective of what the trade unions related to JVP say, the party Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake MP and Vijitha Herath MP have issued statements approving the sale of the loss-making State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to the private sector under a formal tender process, SJB National Organizer Tissa Attanayake MP said.
He also said that the same JVP members who earlier shouted they are against privatising state enterprises are now saying it is alright under a formal tender process according to policies of the alliance they created the NPP.
