Sri Lanka, May 8 -- The planned critical reforms that are currently being implemented should not be revised at all, Central Bank Governor (CBSL) Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe stated since the country

has not fully recovered from the worst economic crisis in post Independence history.

The Governor said this while attending the special press conference held at the CBSL headquarters yesterday (7).

The Governor said that even though Sri Lanka has achieved significant progress by the end of 2023 compared to 2022, it cannot go for ill-planned policy experiments in order to improve it to a more successful sustainable development.
