Mumbai, May 9 -- China's crude oil imports in April came in at 44.72 million metric tons, or about 10.88 million barrels per day (bpd), according to data from the General Administration of Customs. This marked a 5.45% rise compared to April 2023. China's unwrought copper imports in April dropped 7.6% from a month ago to 438,000 metric tonnes, data from the General Administration of Customs showed. Imports of unwrought copper and products in China stood 474,000 tons in March and thus the latest data reflects 8.2% on a monthly basis.
