India, April 25 -- The Aceman, now revealed in its production-ready form, is Mini's new electric-only vehicle. Showcased ahead of the 2024 edition of the Beijing Motor Show, the Mini Aceman will join the Countryman and the Cooper in the lineup. Like the Cooper, the Aceman uses Mini's Spotlight platform developed in partnership with Great Wall Motor. It will come in two variants initially - E and SE. The former gets a 181bhp electric motor coupled with a 42.5kWh battery pack, whereas the latter is equipped with a 215bhp motor with a 54.2kWh battery.

Using a 42.5kWh battery, the less powerful Mini Aceman E offered a WLTP-certified 310km range. 0 to 100km/h comes up in a claimed time of 7.9 seconds, while the top speed is set at 160km/h. Gi...
