India, Feb. 9 -- Maruti Suzuki India, one of the largest automakers in the country, has announced that it has sold 10 lakh units of the popular Ertiga MPV (multi-purpose vehicles), marking a noteworthy milestone. Notably, the firm achieved this sales mark in 12 years since it arrived on the domestic market back in April 2012. For the uninitiated, MPVs account for more than one-third of all multi-purpose vehicles sold in the country. Because of its reliable performance, the Ertiga has blazed a road in the mid-size MPV market and gained enormous appeal among Indian families. Not only that, the model has been incredibly popular outside of India as well, with exports to more than eighty nations.
