India, Feb. 14 -- With the new Mavrick 440, Hero MotoCorp has ventured into the higher-end motorcycle segment. The Hero bike, which is based on the Harley-Davidson X440, is offered in three variants-Base, Mid, and Top-with a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Alongside the price announcement, the two-wheeler automaker has begun reservations for the bike at Rs 5,000. It is the brand's first middleweight motorbike, with a muscular fuel tank, circular LED headlamps and DRLs, and metallic accents on various areas including the front fender and shrouds.
