India, April 15 -- Ducati has begun reservations for the DesertX Rally ahead of its launch in India. The new Rally edition made its global debut last year. It is an off-road version of the standard DesertX, which retails for Rs 18.33 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The new off-road adventure tourer includes many changes over the base model, such as spoked wheels (21-inch front and 18-inch), a fresh livery, a KYB USD front fork, a rear monoshock, and a long beak on the front mudguard. It has machined gear pedals, a forged carbon sump guard, a rear brake lever, and an additional 20mm of suspension travel on both front and rear axles.
