India, May 3 -- At the Pulsar NS400Z launch event, Bajaj Auto announced that it will launch its CNG motorcycle on June 18 in India. Likely to be called Bruzer, it will be Bajaj's first-ever CNG-powered motorcycle. While the exact displacement of the upcoming bike is yet to be known, it will likely be positioned in the 110-125cc space given that Bajaj intends to target semi-urban and rural markets with this bike. If so, we expect the bike to be priced above the Platina (Rs 67,808) and the CT (Rs 69,626). Both are starting prices, ex-showroom. Upon arrival in India, the Bajaj CNG bike will rival the petrol-powered bikes in the 100-125cc space.
