Australia, April 30 -- The Federal Court of Australia issued the following judgement:
REASONS FOR JUDGMENT
RANGIAH J:
1 The applicant has applied for a determination of native title over approximately 25,506 km square of land and waters broadly west and south-west of Rockhampton in Central Queensland.
2 On 15 June 2023, in Blucher on behalf of the Gaangalu Nation People v State of Queensland (No 3) [2023] FCA 600, I delivered reasons for judgment answering two separate questions.
3 The first separate question asked:
But for any question of extinguishment of native title, does native title exist in relation to any and, if so what, land and waters of the claim area?
