Jakarta, April 19 -- The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and the French Air and Space Force (FASF) have agreed to establish military cooperation to mutually solidify the air defense of their countries.

In a press release received from the TNI AU in Jakarta on Friday, the TNI AU informed that the agreement was reached by delegates from the two military institutions during a forum held in Yogyakarta on Thursday (April 18, 2024).

Representing the Indonesian Air Force, First Marshall Mochammad Untung Suropati explained that the two parties agreed to cooperate in conducting drills, educational activities, subject matter expert exchange (SMEE), and flight operations.
