Sri Lanka, May 1 -- Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister Ali Sabry and Saudi Arabia's Minister of Investment Khalid Al Falih have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Investment Promotion between the two countries.

This instrument, a long-felt need, will immensely help to promote investment opportunities in each other's countries, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh said.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Sabry has also had a productive meeting with Faisal Alibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which both ministers discussed enhancement of economic cooperation including early finalization of a road map for greater economic cooperation.
